CMIT Programs in the Great Lakes Area
Chi Alpha Campus Ministries
Chi Alpha is a national campus ministry sponsored by the Assemblies of God. We are a Spirit-empowered, diverse community of believers on university campuses, declaring in word and lifestyle our faith in Jesus Christ, equipped to fulfill our purpose in God's global plan. We reconcile students to Christ, equipping them through spirit-filled communities of prayer, worship, fellowship, discipleship and mission to transform the university, the marketplace and the world. Our core values are Community, Creativity, Diversity, Excellence, Integrity, and Servant-Leadership. What is a CMIT? CMIT stands for Campus Missionary in Training. The Ohio XA internship offers a variety of missional experiences across three distinct college settings - a public university (Wright State), a private university (U of Dayton) and a community college (Sinclair CC). Each intern will be exposed to an established ministry, a new ministry and a ministry on a strictly commuter campus. Each school provides it's own challenges and opportunities for learning that will benefit the intern with a wide scope of skills and competencies, along side character and theological growth.
